DroConnect started with a single roof inspection. A friend of ours, a property manager, needed one. He spent three weeks trying to find a pilot. Got two quotes. One was $850 and a month wait-list. The other never replied.
Meanwhile, a Part 107 pilot we knew was driving Uber to make rent because he couldn't find consistent work. He had a $4,000 drone sitting in his trunk between rideshare runs.
